Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with high-security locking systems and key control

  • Ability to operate in government/military environments

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, inspect, and repair high-security locking systems, safes, vaults, doors, and access control hardware
  • Service and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical locking devices
  • Perform lock rekeying, combination changes, and key control management per security directives
  • Support secure facility construction, renovation, and decommissioning projects
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with federal, agency, and intelligence community security standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, key inventories, and access changes
  • Respond to emergency lockouts or security incidents as required
  • Coordinate with security officers, engineers, and facilities personnel to resolve vulnerabilities
  • Protect classified information and follow all handling, storage, and operational security procedures
