Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Lab Engineer to support government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, deploy, and maintain Windows domains, VMware infrastructure, and lab environments mirroring production to ensure secure operations.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and a technical degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II-compliant security certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with VMware infrastructure and VM deployment.
• Familiarity with AD, PKI, Infoblox, Linux, and data center ops.

Responsibilities

• Design Windows domain and child domain architectures.
• Analyze requirements and develop system specifications.
• Provide technical leadership for integration and design.
• Configure and deploy VMs in VMware and manage AD/Tier-3 support.
• Maintain servers, networks, and lab hardware/software; patching and upgrades.
• Interact with Government customers on SE considerations and requirements.
