Job summary

Node.Digital seeks a Host Forensic Analyst to support critical federal engagements in Arlington, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship, with leadership of onsite forensic teams and coordination of evidence collection operations.

You will perform digital evidence analysis, write detailed investigative reports, mentor junior staff, and ensure proper evidence handling and chain of custody while delivering findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 5+ years of directly relevant cyber forensics experience.
• Ability to obtain DHS suitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead forensic teams at onsite engagements by coordinating evidence collection operations.
• Provide technical assistance on digital evidence and forensic investigative techniques.
• Write detailed reports, perform peer reviews, and conduct QA for junior staff.
• Support forensic analysis and mentor others on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead preliminary investigations and coordinate inventory, examination, and analysis of evidence.
• Distill analytic findings into executive summaries and technical reports.
• Explain investigation details and forensics methodologies to stakeholders.
• Track on-site incident response activities and brief leadership.
• Evaluate, extract, and analyze suspected malicious code.
