The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing custom WordPress sites, themes, plugins, and integrations using PHP and modern web technologies, along with an understanding of secure-development practices in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, custom themes, plugins, templates, content-management features, and web-based workflows.
• Develop custom WordPress functionality and integrate websites with internal applications, APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Implement secure coding practices, role-based user access, data-protection controls, and vulnerability remediation for web applications.
• Support cybersecurity compliance activities, including system documentation, security assessments, patching, vulnerability remediation, and continuous-monitoring requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress core, themes, plugins, server environments, integrations, and website performance.
• Partner with technical teams and program stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and deploy web capabilities.
