Job summary

Dover Networks LLC is seeking a senior Platform/DevOps engineer to lead architectural design, deployment, and debugging across production stacks. You will build a robust release pipeline for safe delivery of critical software, automate deployments, and manage configuration via Puppet/Ansible, with strong emphasis on DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of related experience
• Requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and no sponsorship
• Experience leading Agile teams and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Linux and Windows system administration experience
• Experience with AWS cloud and virtualization environments
• Familiarity with security practices and PCI compliance
• Ability to work cross-functionally with customers and teams
• Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Must be fluent with Git
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience with Windows system administration and performance
• 10+ years in an Agile dev environment
• Integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for deployments
• Experience with caching technologies (Memcache, Redis, etc.)
• Experience with MySQL and Elasticsearch, security networking
• 10+ years architecture experience reading code and troubleshooting
• 10+ years AWS cloud and virtualization management in a PaaS setup
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies
• Proficiency in OO programming with Ruby, C, C++, GO, Python or Java
• Understanding complex software systems for defect isolation and deployment
• Able to work with customers, developers, QA, PM, and support
• Excellent problem solving and communications
