Job summary

IBM Consulting in Reston, VA is seeking a TS//SCI-cleared DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical intelligence workflows and decision-support tools for senior leaders in the DoD intelligence community. The role requires cloud and platform engineering experience, secure deployment practices, and a strong scripting background.

Work location is Reston, VA, with collaboration across national security teams, graph technology usage, and data visualization for decision advantage.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active TS//SCI clearance or immediate eligibility according to DISS security database (SCI within last 2 years)
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in STEM fields
• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or environment management
• 3+ years of experience with cloud and platform infrastructure technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure)
• 3+ years of experience with operating systems and scripting tools (e.g. Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• 1+ years of experience supporting secure deployments, configuration management, monitoring, logging, and operational troubleshooting (e.g. Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)

Responsibilities

• Provide senior NS leaders with decision-worthy data and analysis to improve the effectiveness of Intelligence systems.
• Build mission-critical intelligence workflows to produce decision advantage for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)).
• Leverage graph technology and data visualization tools to wrangle, clean, analyze and display data in decision support tools for senior leaders within the Department of War.
