Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks a senior Data Architect to lead data strategy, governance, modeling and architecture for complex federal systems, ensuring scalable, secure data across enterprise applications and environments.

You will design and deliver robust data architectures, manage master data, metadata and data quality rules, and drive data integration with business stakeholders. Requirements include a BS in CS/IS, 10+ years in IT with 5+ in information system design, strong communication, and TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in computer science or information systems, or related field.
• At least 10 years in IT with 5+ years in information system design.
• Experience designing and implementing information solutions (data focused).
• Exposure to cloud/hybrid data environments and DoW/DON knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead data strategy, governance, modeling and architecture for complex federal systems.
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable data architectures and data access patterns.
• Oversee master data management, metadata management, and data quality rules.
• Drive data integration and interoperability across IT systems and applications.
• Communicate with executives and stakeholders to socialize concepts and business cases.
