Job summary

HESFP, LLC is a government-focused security services provider seeking a Security Specialist to support security control assessments, A&A activities, and vulnerability evaluations for enterprise cloud environments in a regulated federal setting.

You will work with the Senior Security Architect, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions that support the customer's mission while ensuring RMF alignment and federal cybersecurity compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; seven years of information assurance/cybersecurity/RMF/ATO experience.
• Experience conducting security assessments using NIST SP 800-53 and 800-37.
• Experience supporting A&A activities including SSPs, POA&Ms, artifacts, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of security controls per NIST SP 800-53/800-37.
• Support A&A activities including SSPs, POA&Ms, and artifacts.
• Perform vulnerability assessments for enterprise cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity plans and procedures.
