Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team of 13,000+ professionals. The role focuses on Cloud Native Applications, DevSecOps, automation, and hybrid cloud in defense and public sector contexts.

You’ll build and support pipelines, enable faster release cycles, and empower development teams with a robust platform. The ideal candidate has Linux administration experience, Kubernetes/Docker skills, IaC tooling, and a track record automating cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IT or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Linux/Unix Administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in scripting/automation languages (Bash, Python, Go, Rust).
• Experience automating cloud deployments and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines across hybrid cloud environments.
• Read and understand APIs and implement automation as required.
• Develop & Improve automation for deployment and management of cloud resources using Terraform, Ansible.
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform per DISA STIGs across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC (CI/CD).
• Assist development teams with containerized deployments using Kustomize, Helm, Docker/Podman.
• Account for disaster recovery, test backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitor environment performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize solutions.
• Stay abreast of DevSecOps and cloud-native technologies with stakeholders.
