Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions in Quantico, VA is seeking a Simulation Developer to join a Federal program developing next-generation modeling and simulation capabilities for defense and naval mission objectives.

You will design, build, and maintain simulation applications within complex architectures while collaborating with engineers, analysts, and SMEs to improve fidelity and performance. This role requires 3+ years of experience and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience focused on modeling, simulation, gaming, or virtual environments.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Experience with simulation platforms such as AFSIM, Unity, Unreal Engine, Simio, or Arena.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced modeling and simulation applications.
• Build and integrate simulation capabilities within larger mission and system architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and SMEs to improve simulation fidelity and performance.
• Develop new features, conduct testing and validation, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Support interoperability and mission-focused testing, including NCIP initiatives.
• Lead project planning, technical documentation, data collection, and stakeholder coordination.
