Job summary

Assured Consulting Solutions is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Network Administrator Level 2 to support NETOPS initiatives in a Washington, DC on-site environment. You will coordinate with the Network Operations Center and engineering teams to implement changes, upgrades, and security measures across enterprise routers and switches.

The role requires a current TS/SCI clearance, CI polygraph readiness, and hands-on experience with TACLANE devices, Cisco/Juniper gear, and STIG-based security practices

Qualifications

• IAT II and CCNA Certifications.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x).
• KG-175 TACLANES configuration, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct approved network changes, including VLAN, ACL, and port assignments.
• Perform IOS upgrades on routers and switches.
• Route and switch equipment upgrades to support enterprise operations.
• Draft SOPs for network operations.
• Resolve network issues and support outages and security requirements.
• Support site surveys and engineering data calls.
• Assist in network implementation, installation, and refresh projects.
• Operate independently with limited supervision.

Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency. Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Network Administrator Level 2 to join the team.

As a Tier 2 NetworkAdministrator,you'llbe challenged with enterprise support problems where you will coordinate withtheNetworkOperationsCenterandotherOperational staff to address break fix, configuration update, schedule add moves and changes and technology upgrades and installs for Network routers and switches. You are expected as one of experienced Network team members to coordinate ticket acceptance and resolutions. You will support the development of technical resolution reports for critical outages in the Network.

Under this program we technically transform current services by leading edge technology insertions. To accomplish this, we are in charge with developing new designs, the implementation, and operation of the new and or enhanced services. Over the life of the contract, we will drive continual service improvement by tech modernization, for our (LANs), wide area networks (WAN), unified communication (UC), Video telecommunication and Streaming services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• In this role theNetworkAdministratorwillbe responsible for:
• Conduct approvednetwork changesto include but not limited toVLan, ACL and port assignment.
• Perform IOSupgrades to routers and switches.
• Performrouting and switching equipment technology upgradesto ensurecontinuedoperations of the enterprise.
• Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) fornetworkoperations.
• Resolvesystems failures and accessibility problemswithin the network to our services.
• Support site survey andengineering designsdata calls.
• Support new/enhanced networkimplementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale.
• Works independently withsomesupervision.
• In remote locations must function as independent engineering, maintenance, and network problem solving with minimal or intermittent input from other Tiers/locations.
• Problems faced are difficult, willrequire detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand problems.You willemploy creativity and ingenuity for new technical solutions applicable across the enterprise, drawing heavily on prior experience.
• Perform Network ticket resolution.
• Support Network ticket closureacrossNetworkOperationsstaff toinclude:
• Use administrative access to the network to provision new switches, routers, and Cryptographicdevices.
• Uses administrative access to network components to research errors, incidents, problems and to perform incident analysis andidentifypotential problems.
• Routing Service Requests to theappropriate organizationrequiredfor incident resolution.
• Performs root cause analyses.
• Completes problem resolutions associated with incident ticket(s)
• Review and implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Required Qualifications:

• IAT II andCCNA Certifications
