Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking an Application Developer on a fully funded opportunity on our largest PRIME contract.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, delivering mission-critical software across a diverse tech stack and fast iteration cycles to support operations users. You will research and develop proof-of-concept capabilities, reverse engineer devices and protocols, and craft mission-driven software requirements while collaborating with analysts, engineers, and policy leaders in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree).
1 year of experience in reverse engineering.
Experience supporting research, prototyping, or innovative technology development.
Experience with vulnerability research and reverse engineering.
Experience with network protocols, network stack analysis, and systems programming.
Experience with SaaS tools and services.
Experience developing software in Rust, Python, or C/C++.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering techniques.
Experience using Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Research and develop proof-of-concept capabilities for application operations and communications.
Apply domain expertise to support mission operations and technical problem solving.
Reverse engineer embedded devices, software, and network protocols.
Define, refine, and implement mission-driven requirements for software and tool development.
Utilize low-side technologies to rapidly develop, test, and evaluate reverse engineering solutions.
