Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software testing across DoD-wide applications. Candidates should have a TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years in related fields, and experience with API testing, CI pipelines, and test management tools.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field; 8+ years in software development, release management, or operations.
Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain Polygraph.

Experience with Selenium WebDriver.

Responsibilities

Design test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on requirements and specs.
Automate test cases using Selenium WebDriver.
Estimate testing effort and track progress.
Write and review test cases with stakeholders.
Execute functional, smoke, regression, and integration tests.
Report, track, validate, and close defects.
Participate in daily scrum meetings.
Contribute to system design sessions by assessing testability.
Glean metrics and support risk assessments across software/hardware development.
Advise on improving testing strategies with quantitative metrics.
