Job description
Overview

Insight Global is looking to hire an Action Officer sitting fully onsite at the Pentagon. This individual will join a team (consisting of 3 other individuals) responsible for coordinating and managing taskers and memos tied to cryptographic modernization efforts. The role involves reviewing incoming cyber policy or COMSEC-related tasks, prioritizing and assigning them for action, and tracking progress to ensure timely completion. Additionally, this individual will prepare and deliver briefings, talking points, and presentations for senior leadership. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple workstreams, collaborate across teams, and confidently interface with high-level DOD leaders in a personable and professional manner.

Compensation

$37.27/hr to $43.27/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
  • Active DOD TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or 9+ years of experience in a professional work environment in place of a degree (LCAT requirement)
  • Previous experience tracking tasks, managing due dates, and coordinating across teams (within a DOD environment)
  • Previous experience in acting on cyber policy or COMSEC-related tasks (recognizing scope, assigning them appropriately, and ensuring on-time delivery)
  • Enterprise task management system experience (experience using CATMS is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills, including previous experience briefing senior leadership (1-star general level or higher)
  • Ability to develop briefings, talking points, and presentations - Experience with Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)
  • Experience serving in the U.S. Armed Forces
  • Knowledge of cryptographic modernization or Communications Security (COMSEC)
  • Experience in the DoD CIO, OSD, or a Military Command
