Zachary Piper is seeking a Senior Network Specialist in San Diego, California to support a high-performance computing environment. The role includes systems engineering, software integration, testing, application development, and IT solution design for mission-critical infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years' experience in networked enterprise environments, and the ability to obtain/hold an Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Position Summary

Zachary Piper is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to support a high-performance computing environment. This role is responsible for systems engineering, software integration, testing, application development, and overall IT solution design supporting complex technical infrastructure and mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and network solutions.


• Develop and support system architectures involving hardware, software, and infrastructure components.


• Analyze, develop, test, and deploy software applications and utility programs.


• Evaluate user requirements and develop technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


• 4+ years of relevant technical experience.


• Experience with systems engineering, software development, integration, and testing.


• Strong understanding of networked and enterprise computing environments.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• High-performance computing (HPC) environments.


• Enterprise software or systems integration projects.


• Database design and development.


• Network infrastructure and distributed systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.


• Ability to bend, squat, and move equipment as needed.

Compensation

• Salary range: $110,000 - $134,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
