Job summary

Matura Farrington, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Trusts & Estates Paralegal to support a Private Client practice handling estate planning, probate, and trust administration for high-net-worth individuals.

You will collaborate with attorneys and staff on complex matters, ensuring precise document preparation and timely asset transfers. The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years in trusts and estates, familiarity with California law, and proficiency with MS Office and legal management

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal, preferably in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of California estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
• Experience preparing estate administration documents and coordinating asset transfers.
• Familiarity with real estate transactions and property tax considerations.
• Must meet California Business and Professions Code § 6450; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and legal document management platforms (iManage or FileSite)

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
• Coordinate collection, valuation, transfer, and distribution of estate assets.
• Prepare inventories, beneficiary correspondence, and supporting admin documents.
• Assist with estate and gift tax filings and related documentation.
• Draft deeds, documents for asset transfers, and probate petitions.
• Maintain accurate records of estate and trust transactions and property records.
