LHH is partnering with one of the nation's premier law firms seeking to add an experienced Trusts & Estates Counsel to their team in Virginia. This role will work closely with the Department Head for this team and have a lot of autonomy. The team this attorney would be joining is chalk full of industry leaders and is consistently ranked among the top US firms for their practice area expertise.

Required Experience:

  • Ability to independently navigate complex issues related to sophisticated estate planning and transfer tax, trust and estate administration, and fiduciary advice matters.
  • Working understanding of estate tax, gift tax, and GST tax issues.
  • Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams

Top academics and credentials required and preferred candidates will be coming from an AmLaw firm practice or highly sophisticated AmLaw alternative/boutique. VA bar licensure is required, but the team is willing to consider candidates who would need to sit for the exam.
