Qualifications include a JD from an ABA-approved school, Illinois admission, and 1+ year of trusts and estates experience; experience with estate and gift tax returns is a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-approved law school.
• Illinois admission to practice law in good standing.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in trusts and estates.
• Experience with estate and gift tax returns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Manage all phases of trust and estate administration, including probate and non-probate matters.
• Prepare and review relevant court filings and accounting documentation.
• Communicate with clients, fiduciaries, and financial institutions regarding ongoing administration matters.
• Maintain organized files and ensure timely progression of matters.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, meeting their needs professionally.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to estates and trusts, advising clients accordingly.
