Qualifications

• Must pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Obtain BSIS Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Survey for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Communicate by use of SilverTrac, radios, telephones and computers.
• Sound alarms or inform police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Notify violators of rule infractions such as loitering or carrying forbidden articles.
• Monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized persons to enter the property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
