Job summary

Warren Woods Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Bus Driver in Warren, Michigan to transport students on assigned routes. Starting immediately, you will drive buses on schedule, perform safety inspections, and maintain order on the bus.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements, and the ability to pass a physical examination and random drug/alcohol testing. Work location is on-site with the Transportation department.

Qualifications

• CDL Type B license required with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Must pass physical examination per FMCSA and WWPS requirements.
• Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive school buses safely and professionally.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain route schedules, times, and updated route information.
• supervise student behavior and ensure safety on bus.
• Comply with traffic laws and district policies.
• Conduct emergency drills and report incidents as needed.
