Job summary

ABM industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to maintain clean, safe, and orderly facilities across assigned sites. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks and support overall workplace appearance and sanitation to create a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, window cleaning, and proper storage of supplies, with a focus on safety and adherence to company protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins according to company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
