Griswold Home Care is seeking experienced in-home caregivers for day, evening, and overnight shifts in Northern Vermont. The team supports clients to stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home, with a focus on reliability and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults in home care or facility settings.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Valid car insurance.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Three strong professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement for clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Mobility and safety assistance.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to the office.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Create a safe, respectful, and positive home environment for each client.
