Job summary

Eleutherian Trust Company is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to support Trust Officers and senior leadership in client account administration. You will handle daily operations, ensure timely processing of sensitive transactions, and prepare materials for client meetings.

You will collaborate with investment advisors and portfolio managers, maintain trust fees, and ensure flawless execution of client requests for money movements and research activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or work experience.
  • General knowledge of how trusts function and are administered.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in multi-tasking and managing priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trust with clients; empathy and genuine interest in working with people.
  • Team oriented mindset.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Trust Officers and Chief Technology/Operations Officer.
  • Prepare the Charlotte system for nightly and special month end processing.
  • Assist in development and control of nightly accounting of sub-Custody, DDA and TAS accounts.
  • Process sensitive transactions in a timely and prompt manner.
  • Accurately complete daily operations needed to maintain client accounts.
  • Provide appropriate level of phone coverage and monitor other means of client communication to ensure client service standards are met.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings.
  • Research items related to trusts and/or client accounts when requested.
  • Provide exceptional client service and flawless execution of client requests for money movement, security transfers and research requests.
  • Communicate with investment advisors and portfolio managers regarding liquidity needs and investment matters.
  • Maintain and monitor trust department fees, verify daily activities in client accounts.
  • Represent Eleutherian Trust Company to both clients and professional organizations so that Eleutherian Trust Company is viewed in the highest of standard.
