In this role, you will own systems for detecting fraud and malicious content, design scalable infrastructure, and empower support teams to act quickly against threats. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of software engineering experience in fraud prevention and a passion for user protection. The position offers a base salary between $180K and $275K plus benefits and equity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a software engineer with a focus on abuse, spam, or fraud prevention.
• Strong systems thinking and experience building highly available web APIs.
• Experience with event streaming systems like Redis or Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Own detection and prevention systems for fraud, abuse, spam, and malicious content.
• Design and build scalable trust infrastructure including rate limiting and content scanning.
• Investigate and resolve complex security incidents.
