Job summary

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is seeking a skilled trust reporting specialist to support trust indentures, payment calculations and data reconciliation in a corporate trust environment.

This role collaborates with asset managers, investors and auditors, requiring analytical ability and strong Excel skills; location is on-site at a U.S. Bank facility with standard benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three to five years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with trust reporting, indentures, and fixed income data is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret trust indentures with regard to reporting requirements.
  • Create technical report specifications from indenture language.
  • Set up payment calculations in a variety of in-house systems.
  • Receive, map and reconcile periodic collateral data.
  • Perform portfolio compliance tests on a selection of structured fixed income deals.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly and annual payment and/or tax reports.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure correct payments are received and made.
  • Perform quality control review of reports, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards.
  • Frequent interaction with asset managers, investors, auditors and rating agencies.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work
Three to five years of relevant work
Interpersonal, verbal and written comm
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education
