Job description

Trust Officer Senior

As the Trust Officer Senior, you will report to the Branch Manager and oversee account administration ensuring client satisfaction of both trust beneficiaries and referring financial advisors to support our goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Establish operational goals and work plans, and delegate assignments to your team.
  • Develop policies that affect immediate client operations with broader impact to your team or division.
  • Analyze situations or data requiring in-depth knowledge of organizational goals of the enterprise.
  • Participate in preliminary discovery of new business opportunities; perform administrative reviews and coordinate with financial advisors, business development, and document review to determine appropriateness of the business.
  • Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
  • Ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
  • Navigate sensitive situations without damaging relationships.
  • Perform account administration functions according to internal procedures to be efficient and compliant (account opening, closing, monitoring investment goals, overseeing charges and fee collection, annual account reviews, encroachment requests, tax preparation).
  • Respond promptly to management, auditors, and bank examiners' inquiries; accept responsibility for solutions and resolutions to problems, reconciliations, and account reviews.
  • Help develop trust administrators to confirm familiarity with accounts and procedures.
  • Work with all professional partners and co‑workers.
  • Master systems involved with trust account administration to ensure proper flow of opening and managing the business.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned.
