Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in truss assembly, the ability to read a tape measure and operate routers, saws, presses, and a crane, and a proven leadership record. You will mentor staff, support continuous improvement projects, and uphold OSHA standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of industry experience / truss assembly required.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
  • Familiarity with shop floor software and safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production build stations, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety, and quality standards.
  • Oversee training of all employees in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Maintain knowledge of build standards and perform quality control checks on all products.
  • Oversee material staging and ensure proper availability of supplies for production.
  • Monitor production workflow process and assist other areas as needed.
  • Enforce OSHA requirements, company safety rules, and safe work practices.
  • Monitor product quality and verify compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and conducive to efficient operations.
  • Ensure safe and efficient use of equipment during the assembly process.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote strong customer service values.
  • Maintain operational awareness to ensure error-free and damage-free results.
  • Responsible for managing a team of 10+ associates, including hiring/termination decisions, setting goals, and overseeing budget accountability.
