Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. offers a Truckload Internship in the Supply Chain department for Summer 2027.

You will work on a team responsible for brokerage, equipment planning, or fleet oversight, gaining hands-on experience in load planning, DOT compliance, and carrier negotiations. Under supervision, you will learn market dynamics, capacity management, and technology tools used to optimize transportation workflows.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week during the summer.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the transportation industry and JB Hunt's truckload operations.
• Assist with brokerage, equipment planning, or fleet oversight activities as assigned.
• Support market analysis, capacity planning, and DOT compliance efforts.
• Learn how JB Hunt leverages technology to streamline workflows and load information.
