Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Truck Washer in Wayland, IA to ensure complete sanitation of livestock trailers, feed trucks, wash bays, and equipment. You will follow SOPs and safety protocols while operating the power washing system.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a loud, wet environment, and perform repetitive movements. Training and PPE will be provided; regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Able to operate power washing system
• Must follow safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Operate power washing cleaning system and but not limited to:
• Pressure wash trailers top to bottom, inside and out in a timely and efficient manner
• Keep wash bay and dryer bay clean at all times
• Pull trailers in and out of wash bays and dryer chamber utilizing company tractor in safe manner to avoid damage to property and equipment
• Comply with company standard operating procedures and utilize personal protective equipment
• Understand and apply cleaning protocols
• Inspects trailers after washing to ensure it meets company standards
• Inspects all high-pressure hose fittings periodically for cuts or wear and reports any need for replacement to Truck Wash Supervisor
• Washes winter panels (when necessary)
• Follow safety procedures when applying chemicals
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Truck Washer

Primary Objective

Ensure complete sanitation of all livestock trailers, feed trucks, wash bays, and other equipment. The Truck Washer must adhere to company standard operating procedures and is expected to follow all safety protocols.

Responsibilities Include

Operate power washing cleaning system and but not limited to:

• Pressure wash trailers top to bottom, inside and out in a timely and efficient manner
• Keep wash bay and dryer bay clean at all times

Physical Job Requirements

• Ability to perform repeated dynamic movements from below to above shoulder height
• Ability to lift over between 5lb and up to 50lbs daily
