Job summary

Reading Truck Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Truck Installation Technician II to install specialty truck bodies, plows, and other commercial equipment under supervision. You will work on electrical wiring, hydraulics, and schematics to ensure proper fit and function.

The role involves mounting hitches, shelves, ladders, and related components, with basic welding experience helpful. You will train with other mechanics and handle additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum).
• 2+ years of electrical wiring.
• Ability to build schematics.
• Complex hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus).
• Independent ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools).

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies, plows, commercial truck accessories.
• Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, mud flaps, etc.
