Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Bates City, MO is urgently seeking experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanics to maintain heavy trucks and repair specialty trailers, including lights, tires, brakes, wheel and suspension work. Candidates with trailer rebuilds/restoration experience are welcome.

The role requires own tools, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with overtime and a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general heavy truck maintenance and trailer systems experience.
• Previous repair experience on diesel engines.
• Experience with truck components, trailer systems, transmissions, brakes, lighting, electrical work, hydraulics, suspension, tires, etc.
• Familiarity with diagnostic software.
• Preference for previous trailer rebuilds/restoration projects.
• Must have own tools, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on heavy trucks and repair specialty trailers.
• Repair components including brakes, lighting, tires, suspension and hydraulics.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic software and plan repairs.
• Possess own tools and maintain safe, compliant work practices.
