Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler/ Truck to Truck Technician at our Bristol, CT facility. The role focuses on moving and placing waste between facilities and generators, with a 9am-7pm shift.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/offloading trucks, and ensuring accurate material handling and reporting issues promptly to management. Valid DOT and manifest training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Move and place waste materials between Clean Harbors facilities and direct generators.
• Load and unload trucks; manage warehouse tasks and staging.
• Maintain organization and safety at the hub facility.
• Report issues such as leaks or spills to supervisor or Health & Safety.
• Operate and adhere to DOT and manifest training requirements.

Job description

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler/ Truck to Truck Technician at our Bristol, CT facility responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors' facilities and direct generators.

Shift: 9am-7pm

Pay: $21 - $23 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attention to Detail and can manage & organize multiple task
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively one on one or through email
• Forklift experience
• Warehouse and logistics experience, including loading/offloading trucks
• Material handling experience
• Ability to receive, sort, and process material
• Report and assist on any issues that may occur at the hub facility, such as, leaks, releases to the Direct Manager/GM, Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately.
• DOT training and knowledge of regulations.
• Manifest training and knowledge of regulations
• Proficiency in Windows based applications
