House of Raeford Farms, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for second shift to service fleet vehicles and equipment. You will repair and replace parts, perform preventive maintenance, and keep detailed service records. DOT physical, valid license, and tools are required.

The role requires extensive automotive knowledge (gas/diesel) and proficiency with manual and automatic transmissions, with attendance on Sundays-Thursday and some Fridays/Saturdays as needed.

Formación

• Extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics including gas and diesel engines.
• Experience with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems on various company vehicles.
• Must have own basic tools and valid driver’s license.

Job Description

OBJECTIVE: To maintain and repair all Commercial company vehicles and company vehicles.

• Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning parts or mechanic units
• Maintain effective maintenance programs, policies and procedures
• Schedule routine maintenance
• Maintain records of all services performed
• Troubleshoot any type issues
• Understand LOTO Procedures
• Able to work in all type environments, i.e., cold, moist, hot, dusty
• Communicate with drivers concerning issues with vehicles
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Comply with all Company policies and safety policies
• Will be trained to operate a forklift

Requirements

2nd shift - Sunday - Thursday (some Fri/Sat) 3:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. Must have extensive knowledge of automotive mechanics - gas and diesel engines; manual and automatic transmissions, etc.; good attendance; available to work any shift; must be physically qualified according to FMCSA - will have to have a DOT Physical; must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems for all company vehicles; must have own basic tools;
