Requirements include 2–3 years in medium/heavy truck repair, a clean driving record, and strong organization and communication skills. The position is on-site with a competitive hourly wage and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in medium and/or heavy truck repair and maintenance.
• Outstanding mechanical aptitude and skills necessary to produce top results.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Personal motivation and self-reliance.
• Manual dexterity and ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives repair order assignments from Shop Foreman.
• Follows instructions and executes work assignments thoroughly and efficiently.
• Maintains superior workmanship in all services performed.
• Advises Shop Foreman of any recommended changes in services ordered by the customer.
• Determines if further repairs should be recommended and communicates this to the Shop Foreman.
• Maintains training with equipment, machinery, and servicing techniques.
• Attends training sessions as required by the Service Manager.
• Performs additional repairs if customer returns due to technician error.
• Maintains accurate work order records and time clocked on jobs.
