Job summary

LV Petroleum is opening a new truck service shop in Cordele, GA and is building a team from day one. We’re hiring a Truck Service Advisor to jump in as the shop prepares for opening day, with training at established locations beforehand.

You’ll help drivers get the service they need, write and process work orders, quote services, and coordinate with technicians and vendors to ensure timely, safe service. Join us to be part of something new and exciting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience in trucking or automotive industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to upsell and recommend services when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for travelers.
• Develop knowledge of shop products and services.
• Write, detail, and process work orders accurately.
• Prepare ETA work orders and communicate completion times.
• Prepare and communicate service quotes and secure POs.
• Recommend additional products and services to meet needs.
• Build trust through professional, honest communication.
• Handle OTC transactions and payment types.
• Source parts from vendors and coordinate deliveries.
• Communicate with technicians, customers, vendors, and leadership.
• Complete end-of-shift cash drops and shift reports.
• Maintain a safe environment for customers and team members.
• Work as a team to ensure travelers leave better than they arrived.
