Job summary

LV Petroleum in Montgomery, AL is hiring a Truck Service Advisor to deliver superior customer service at the counter. You will write work orders, process OTC transactions, and coordinate quotes and purchase orders to keep trucks on the road.

You'll source parts from vendors, prepare end-of-shift reports, and assist with ETA work orders while maintaining safety for customers and team members. Flexibility with hours is required, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Strong suggestive selling skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays; interior and exterior conditions.
• A valid driver’s license required.

We are hiring in our Montgomery, AL location. As a Truck Service Advisor (TSA), you will provide first-rate service to customers through your extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide. The TSA is primarily responsible for writing work orders, suggestive selling, and handling over-the-counter (OTC) transactions while ensuring that we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

In this role, you can expect to:

• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
• Have strong suggestive selling skills to help generate revenue. Ability to influence in a professional manner while displaying high integrity

Typical Physical Demands

In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects.
