Coffee Cup Travel Plazas TA EXPRESS is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to manage customer interactions and service coordination at our Steele, ND location. The role emphasizes handling work orders, explaining repairs, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Truck Service Advisor (TSA)

A TA Truck Center Service Advisor manages customer interactions, which involves writing work orders, explaining repairs and costs, and coordinating service for trucks. Key responsibilities include handling over-the-counter transactions, suggesting additional services to generate revenue, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The role requires strong customer service and computer skills and an understanding of the trucking industry.

Core responsibilities

• Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and service technicians, explaining inspection results, repair recommendations, and costs.
• Work Order Management: Write, detail, and process work orders, including securing purchase orders, preparing quotes, and accurately recording the customer's concerns.
• Sales and Upselling: Use strong suggestive selling skills to identify and offer additional services to customers.
• Transaction Handling: Handle over-the-counter (OTC) transactions and understand various payment types.
• Coordination: Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate their delivery for repairs.
• Administrative Tasks: Prepare end-of-shift reports and ensure the cleanliness of service counters and the showroom.
