Job summary

Reading Truck Group in Claremore, OK is hiring Paint Preppers/Caulkers for the Paint department on 1st shift. The role involves preparing truck equipment orders for paint and supporting painters with masking, taping, and basic repairs.

Work is on a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thu 5:00am-3:30pm) with overtime on Fridays as needed, in a manufacturing setting with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Some fabrication knowledge/understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep all orders in the truck department for paint.
• Assist painters in painting, masking, taping, or any other task to be performed in the paint department.
• Help prep and perform basic repairs when needed.
• Perform quality assurance before and after painting.
• Other duties assigned by management (may be assigned at any time).
• Know and follow all health and safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
