Job summary

Reading Truck Group in Claremore, OK is hiring Paint Preppers/Caulkers for the 1st shift in the Paint department. The schedule is a 4/10 workweek, Monday–Thursday 5am-3:30pm with overtime on Fridays as needed. You will prep truck equipment orders for paint and assist with masking, painting, and basic repairs.

Responsibilities include quality assurance before and after painting and following health and safety rules. Prior fabrication knowledge is a plus and training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Some fabrication knowledge/understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep all orders in the truck department for paint.
• Assist painters in painting, masking, taping, or any other task to be performed in the paint department.
• Help prep and perform basic repairs when needed.
• Perform quality assurance before and after painting.
• Other duties assigned by management (may be assigned at any time).
• Know and follow all health and safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
