Job summary

Thatcher Company of New York is seeking a Truck Loader Operator to join our Williamson, NY facility on Swing Shift. The role supports production by loading/unloading materials, operating yard trucks, and handling pumps and loading equipment.

Requires adherence to safety practices and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay of $23–$27, with benefits including profit-sharing, 401(k), quarterly bonuses, medical/dental/vision, PTO, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work safely and promote safety practices.
• Quality conscious with attention to detail.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English well for safety and operations.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload tanks, rail cars, tanker trailers and other containers.
• Operate yard trucks to move trailers; experience preferred but not required.
• Understand and operate plant equipment and processes.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Operate pumps and loading equipment; use forklift as needed.
