Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a Warehouse role in Denver, CO. Base pay is $20.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM plus overtime as needed. Duties include loading/unloading, stocking routes, and assisting drivers on local deliveries.

Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic math and reading skills in English, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is a plus, and overtime including weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Sufficient literacy to read and understand window labels, pick lists, and other work materials in English.
• Glass handling and/or glass knowledge preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to use handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and SOPs.
• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure loads are complete per documentation.
• Secure loads to minimize damage and breakage.
• Work in a team environment.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM + OT as needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse workers are responsible for truck loading and/or stocking the delivery routes in the warehouse. An employee in the Warehouse performs a variety of loading and stocking assignments. Additionally, truck loaders occasionally assist drivers with deliveries on local routes.

• Adhere to safety procedures as outlined in the Illness & Injury Prevention Program and the Employee Handbook
• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures
• Ensure loads are complete per documentation
• Secure loads in a proper fashion to minimize damage and breakage
• Work in a team environment
• Ensure Warehouse is stocked according to SOP's and safety guidelines
• Assist drivers with the unloading of product at customer jobsites, docks, and new-build single-family households

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment

• Work performed in a warehouse-type facility and/or jobsite locations with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions
• Hearing protection and safety glasses required; additional safety equipment provided based on a specific job
• Personnel will stand while performing their respective job functions
