Job summary

Performance Food Group in Omaha, NE, is seeking a warehouse associate to move product from trailers to dock staging areas using a forklift or pallet jack, while observing safety regulations and quality standards.

You will support the receiving process as part of a team, sort pallets, check for damages, and assist with related duties as needed; a High School diploma and forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6–12 months warehouse or production experience.
• OSHA forklift operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trailer to the appropriate dock staging area in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort and segregate pallets / product as necessary.
• Check product for damages and alert receivers if necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.
