PalAmerican is seeking a dependable Truck Gate Security Guard to secure a facility, control vehicle access, and protect personnel and assets. You will verify credentials, inspect vehicles, log activity, and vigilantly monitor security systems in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and consistently enforces site procedures while providing excellent service. Flexible shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Clean driving record and background.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Active Texas Security Guard License.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with truck gate security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control truck and vehicle access at entry/exit points.
• Verify driver credentials, shipping docs, and delivery information.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing vehicles per site procedures.
• Maintain gate logs and vehicle activity records.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
• Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Enforce site security policies and regulations.
• Report suspicious activity, security incidents, and safety concerns.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Maintain a professional, customer-service-oriented presence.
