Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking dedicated Truck Gate Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. The role includes patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identifications, and responding to alarms.

This part-time, 3rd shift position (Fri & Sat, 10 PM–6 AM) offers competitive wages and paid training where allowed by state law, with benefits and opportunities for advancement within a growing private security organization.

Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid ASRB License as required by the state licensing authority.
Must be at least 21 years old.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Alabama Security Regulatory Board License preferred; Able to obtain any security certifications/licenses; State issued drivers license (Not Expired)

Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns; Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials; Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity.
Incident Response & Reporting: Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol; Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents; Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors).
Customer Service & Policy Enforcement: Assist visitors and employees professionally; Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols; Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).

Role Overview

Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have or be able to obtain a Valid ASRB License as required by the state licensing authority
Must be at least 21 years old

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements

Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping

Education & Experience

Preferred

1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
