Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking security officers/guards to monitor client sites and protect people and property.

The role is available as full-time and part-time positions, with essential duties including observing incidents, reporting them, and ensuring safety through patrols and compliance with client rules. Applicants should have at least 1 year of security experience, hold a valid driver certification, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience is required.
• Driver certification is required.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet state/county licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure safety of property and personnel.
• Patrol premises, stand/sit/walk for long periods; climb stairs and navigate uneven terrain as needed.
• Preserve order and enforce client site regulations and directives.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and customers.

Security Officer/Guard

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
  
  

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
