DYTR is seeking a Heavy Duty Fleet Technician in Chattanooga to join our fast-paced service team. You will diagnose, inspect, and repair heavy trucks, test systems, and ensure performance meets manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnostics & Inspection: Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
  • System Testing: Test drive vehicles and evaluate components to ensure peak performance.
  • Ongoing Repair & Service: Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs.
  • Performance Tuning: Adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specs.
  • Driver Consultation: Communicate with drivers to understand issues and symptoms.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure DOT and OSHA guidelines are followed.
  • Shop Excellence: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop.

The Role: Precision & Execution
  • Diagnostics & Inspection: Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions, using advanced testing techniques.
  • System Testing: Test drive vehicles and rigorously evaluate components and systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Ongoing Repair & Service: Perform both routine, scheduled maintenance and complex repairs across our truck fleet.
  • Performance Tuning: Test and adjust repaired systems to guarantee they meet strict manufacturer specifications.
  • Driver Consultation: Communicate directly with drivers to gather accurate descriptions of vehicle issues and symptoms.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure every fleet vehicle complies with all safety, DOT, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Shop Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop workspace and surrounding areas.
