Job summary

Truck and Trailer Specialties, Inc. in Howell, MI, seeks a skilled Truck Fabricator Technician to join our Operations team. You will fabricate, modify and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis, ensuring fit and finish meet customer specifications.

The role requires welding/fabrication experience, ability to work with minimal supervision, and the physical ability to lift and operate shop tools. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current regular driver’s license to move our vehicles.
• Forklift operator certification required.
• Overhead crane operator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily functions of the shop and team.
• Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis.
• Use shop tools such as torches, plasma cutters, shears, punch presses, drill presses and metal cutting saws.
• Fabricate parts as needed and weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet company needs.
