Job summary

GAATCO is seeking a CDL-A semi-local driver to haul no-touch freight across multiple Midwest states. You’ll enjoy predictable home time, typically 3–4 nights at home per week, and a schedule that keeps you close to Dollar Tree stores in IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, and KY.

You’ll earn $75,000–$100,000 per year with an average weekly pay of $1,500–$1,700 and a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid during the first 6 months. Orientation is paid, and routes emphasize safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3 months CDL-A experience or more.
• Hair follicle drug test required.
• Clean MVR record.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-local routes with no-touch freight.
• Deliver to Dollar Tree stores across IL, WI, IN, MI, IA, KY.
• Return home 3–4 times per week.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

CDL-A Semi-Local Driver | $2,500 Sign-On Bonus | No-Touch Freight

Pay & Benefits

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500–$1,700
• Annual Earnings: $75,000–$100,000
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in installments during your first 6 months
• Additional Pay:
  • $245 per unloaded trailer
  • $70 per backhaul
  • $25 per stop

Schedule

• Home 3–4 times per week (typically every other day for a 10-hour break)
• Average 800–1,000 miles per week
• 2 days of paid orientation/training at $150 per day

Route Information

• Semi-local, no-touch freight
• Deliver to Dollar Tree stores throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and Kentucky

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 months of CDL-A experience
• Must pass a hair follicle drug test
• Clean MVR required
• No SAP drivers
• Reliable personal transportation required (trucks cannot be taken home)
