Job summary

Professional Placement Services is seeking an entry-level driver for a well-established open-shop mechanical and industrial contractor in Alabama. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities and requires no CDL or DOT experience. Work hours are 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with frequent overtime and consistent work.

The position emphasizes reliability and a strong work ethic as you support loading, deliveries, and on-site operations with a team of construction professionals.

Qualifications

• Prior employment in a Driving Position
• Valid driver’s license and Clean Driving Record
• Must pass Drug Test

Responsibilities

• Drive Single Axle 16′ to 30′ Flat Bed Trucks and operate forklifts to load trucks.
• Make local pick-ups and deliveries from suppliers to shop, sub-contractors, and jobsites.

Duties

• Driving Single Axle 16′ to 30′ Flat Bed Trucks, Pickup Trucks, and Operating Various Forklifts to load Trucks.
• Making around ” TOWN ” Pick-Ups and Deliveries from Suppliers to Shop, Sub-Contractors, LOCAL Jobsites etc.
• NO CDL required and NO DOT experience required!

Details

• $21 to $24 an hour
• Work schedule is 7am to 4pm | Mon-Fri
• FREQUENT OVERTIME REQUIRED
