Rock Valley College is seeking a part-time Truck Driver Training Instructor to prepare students for the class A CDL examination and entry-level trucking roles. You will lead both classroom instruction and hands-on truck training, covering permits, logbooks, trip planning, and behind-the-wheel techniques.
You will maintain student records to ICCB and Secretary of State standards, oversee program equipment and supplies, evaluate students, and assist with equipment maintenance in emergencies.

Provide a variety of teaching/learning activities that prepare students for the class A-commercial driver's license (CDL) examination and an entry-level position in the trucking industry.

High school diploma or equivalent. Possess a class CDL-A driver's license and a current Department of Transportation medical certificate. Over-the-road experience, clean driving record, and \"a minimum of 5 years\". Some training experience is a plus.
